The Work Climate Training
should reflect your organization’s goals and needs. Such tailoring is
available without charge to organizations with 30 or more training
participants. Tailoring is also available for a fee to those
organizations with fewer participants. The revised training content is
incorporated into a new training site with a unique Internet address.
The following suggestions offer a good
starting place for tailoring efforts.
-
Reduce the length of the training by
eliminating the need for individual participants to conduct a Work
Climate Survey. The survey can be conducted for all work groups
without the involvement of individual training participants.
Sub-reports can be created for the training. This strategy offers
the additional benefit of comparisons between work groups and the
entire organization. The survey data can be used to determine who is
in greatest need of work climate training.
-
Online discussion groups can be created to
foster a helpful dialogue about work climate.
-
Training participants can help generate
ideas for best practices listing. Completed assignments are good
sources for best practice examples. Typically, the instructor would
identify best practices and add them to lists available on the
website or email the best practices to training participants.
