Early Climate Research by Rudolf Moos*

Rudolf Moos was an early pioneer in conceptualizing the role of social atmosphere in peoples’ satisfaction. His interest in identifying core climate factors inspired behavioral scientists and organizational development professionals to explore the role of the social atmosphere in a variety of health and productivity outcomes.  Rudolf Moos identified three dimensions of climate:

  • Relationship Dimension - Assessing individual involvement in the environment
