The Work Climate Training requires that you apply your new skills
to a setting.
Identify a work setting that will be suitable for your course
assignments. The following questions will help you pick such a
setting.
- Pick a setting about which you care. This will bring out your
best creative energy. You may find that the ideas generated in
the class will be of great benefit to the setting.
- Pick a work group to which you will have ready access. As part
of future course assignments, you will need members of this
setting to complete a brief survey. In addition, you will either
need to be very familiar with the setting or be able to ask
questions of people who are.
- In theory, your group could be any size. However, your
coursework will be easier to complete with a work group of less
than 50 people.
Please answer the following questions about your plans.
1. Why did you pick this setting?
2. What are the primary functions and responsibilities of the
work group?
3. What is the size of the work group?
