Summary of Benefits

Social climate seems particularly important during this current era of rapid social and technological change. A good work atmosphere improves peoples’ abilities to make needed changes. Such a climate makes stress less harmful in that employees are better able to cope with stressful situations and resolve problems. A healthy work climate is also associated with high morale and job satisfaction. With a good climate, it is not uncommon to achieve high levels of productivity and performance.
