This Work Climate Training features some powerful techniques for shaping the social environment. To learn more about the history, theory and practice of creating a healthier and more productive work climate, print out and read the linked journal article.

It is highly recommended that you continue to practice your skills. Some of the following outreach strategies will help to generate such opportunities.

  • Volunteer to assist a community group to create a better work climate. Many civic associations, religious organizations and recreational groups could benefit from your assistance in assessing the sense of community, shared vision and positive outlook. You could offer a workshop that reports your findings and assists in creating a better climate.
  • Discuss your training experience with friends, family and coworkers. Let people know that you will be available to assist in creating a better social atmosphere.
