skills. Some of the following outreach strategies will help to
generate such opportunities.
- Volunteer to assist a community group to create a better work
climate. Many civic associations, religious organizations and
recreational groups could benefit from your assistance in
assessing the sense of community, shared vision and positive
outlook. You could offer a workshop that reports your findings
and assists in creating a better climate.
- Discuss your training experience with friends, family and
coworkers. Let people know that you will be available to assist in
creating a better social atmosphere.
