The Work Climate
Survey
For over 20 years, the Work Climate
Survey has been used in a wide variety of organizations to
measure the sense of community, shared vision and
positive outlook in work groups.
It consists of 18 statements that would be true when a healthy and
productive work climate is present. The sense of community is
expressed in five
statements. Shared vision is expressed in six statements.
Positive outlook is expressed in seven statements. Those taking the
survey express their level of agreement that a statement is true
for their work group. Respondents select from a five-point scale:
(5) Strongly Agree, (4) Agree, (3) Undecided/Don't Know, (2)
Disagree, and (1) Strongly Disagree. In addition, there is a
comment section for additional feedback. Completing the anonymous
survey takes approximately 10 minutes.
